This is a collection of poems written in the Black Country dialect. It may seem rather daunting to try and read poetry in what, after all may seem like a foreign language for those not familiar with the region, but fear not, there is a helpful translation of words at the end of the book.
The poems are meant as a tribute to the quirks of the region and the strange way that the locals speak.
Included in the book are some QR Codes for links to my Soundcloud page where you can listen to some of the poems and, hopefully, get a feel for the way Black Country folk speak!
